Austurvollur.is er samskiptavefur tengdur inná Facebook með hugmyndabanka þar sem landsmenn geta sent inn tillögur að stjórnarskrárbreytingum, rætt þær og kosið um bestu hugmyndirnar.

Austurvollur.is er opinn öllum frambjóðendum til Stjórnlagaþings að kynna sín framboð án endurgjalds.

Aðstandendur vefsins vonast til að viðtæk þátttaka verði meðal almennings í undirbúningi Stjórnlagaþings, og frambjóðendur sameinist um að koma á beinu og milliliðalausu lýðræði í landinu.

Stjórnlagaþing gæti orðið mikilvægt tækifæri til að koma Íslendingum úr fjötrum fyrirgreiðsluflokkanna. Spyrna þarf gegn því að gömlu stjórnmálaklíkurnar yfirtaki þingið með sínu fólki til að koma í veg fyrir að gerðar séu róttækar og nauðsynlegar breytingar til að koma hér á raunverulegu lýðræði.

Kjósendur þurfa að vera vel vakandi á verðinum og láta ekki lýðskrum og misnotkun fjölmiðla blekkja sig í áframhaldandi ánauð gömlu flokkanna.

Settu inn þínar hugmyndir um stjórnarskrárbreytingar á www.austurvollur.is

As a disabled tveeallrr you need about 3 hours to transit. First of all wheelchair passengers are always last off the plane, then it usually takes another 10 minutes (at a minimum) after everyone has left the plane to find an isle-chair. This should give ground staff and customs enough time to bring the chair to the gate rather than directly to the next plane. This would allow us disabled passengers proper wheelchairs (our own) to be able to use the toilet independently and most likely find our gate a lot quicker than having to wait for someone to push us to the gate as the current way of doing this means time is taken up by people pushing empty isle-chairs from gate to gate. Why do they do this anyway when every (at least long distance) flight has an isle-chair on-board and it is not as though the stewards don't help you transfer to the toilet during the flight so if they have to do it a couple more times (boarding and disembarking) what's the problem? Anyway getting back to the point. Also by giving us our own chair at our transit makes sure that the chair is actually travelling not stuck at own origin (ie. missed the flight that we were on). I have arrived too many times without my chair at my destination because it got lost in transit (when it was suppose to go directly from plane to plane). I also think a proper dedicated transit desk for disabled/special needs passengers should be at every airport. With knowledgeable staff. I like the idea of airport to airport city tours for long layovers also, maybe this special needs service desk would have direct contact with tour companies so disabled passengers could also access this service. I am also a fan of having a movie theatre at the airports. Will love it one day when special needs ground staff actually understand that disabled people also need to go to the toilet (on their own) after a 3-6 hour flight and before they get on the next 3-6 hour flight. There is soooo much more space in a disabled toilet in an airport than on the plane.
